Nice to "Meat" You

Aww, yes. Meat! The reason aliens abduct cows. In their infinite wisdom they probably realized that eating meat is one of the most valuable things a person can do for their diet. Meat provides a high quality protein source chock full of important nutrients. How in the world do vegans get off on saying soy protein is a acceptable substitute?
Soy's health benefits have been linked to isoflavones, which are plant compounds that mimic estrogen. Now, if your a man reading this, you probably have made your decision already. Estrogen=lower testosterone levels, man boobs and nipple discharge. Sounds cool huh? If your a woman, it probably sounds good, right? Wrong. Taking in high doses of these isoflavones showed decreased fertility, triggered premature puberty and disrupted fetus development. Now keep in mind, these studies were conducted on animals, but scientists believe the results would be the same with humans. We adapt. Thats how we have become the dominant species. Our bodies aren't necessarily designed to eat meat or plants exclusively, but both together. Finding that harmonious balance of lean meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seed is they key to unlocking the healthiest you. Have you ever seen a vegan powerlifter? A vegan sumo wrestler? I haven't. Now, thats not to say a human couldn't survive with a strict vegan diet, but the health of that individual will not be anywhere near optimal.
Meat is a staple, at least it should be. Its what humans have been eating for millions of years and will continue to eat for years to come. Unless, that is, the whole "2012" thing goes down. In that case, Ill be eating meat for 990 days..
